Use the procedure posted already as it was made for this situation & will do precisely what you said you wanted -

I've followed the instructions but it doesn't do anything, I have version 1803 is that the issue?

No, I have done it on Ver 1803 computers.

Did you use [Option 1 Step 2] the downloadable reg file for the correct system type - x86 / x64? [[Sorry, I can now see that you have said, "Yes", to this already.]]

Did the reg file give the success dialog afterwards?

You have to close all open File explorer windows for the fix to take effect. The user folders will have disappeared when you next run FE.

Yes I followed option 2, downloaded the reg hack and ran it all dialog were successful however nothing changes on my file explorer. All folders still there and I have closed all explorer windows, still nothing changed. I am sure something in my registry changed because it said it was successful but my explorer windows didn't change all folders still there.

No problem I will just deal with them I don't want to screw things up.

    Thanks Denis

I cannot help. You have done what we have all done yet you have had different results.

I think you ought to post your problem in the tutorial from which you downloaded the reg file. Describe the problem [your last post #13 should do] and include a link to this thread as well.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

    ?

He clearly states that " nothing changes on his file explorer. "
Where you after told him that "
You cannot help. " But you wish him the Best of luck.

    Well i can help him.
    And i will.

So im not sure what your getting at.

What I am saying is that he has already done what you are now telling him to do.

And "Where you after told him that " You cannot help. " But you wish him the Best of luck" is a misrepresentation of what I wrote given that in between those two statements I advised the OP what to do next.

Try3 i haven't read everything in this thread. I read the first post & the last post that OP wrote.
Didn't know he already tried brinks tutorial.

If tutorial didn't work for him, then there is a reason why it fails.
And i don't mind helping Eaglepi out untill it does work.
I've never had issues modify my windows or any windows for that matter.

And I did not misunderstand what you meant.
You clearly wrote that you cannot help him any more, and you ask him to go to another thread and ask for help in there instead.

Try the following from an Administrator PowerShell window:

    Code:
    gci 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\*\PropertyBag' |
       ?{(gp $_.PSPath).ThisPCPolicy} |
           set-itemproperty -Name ThisPCPolicy -Value 'Hide'
