Can I change what appears in file Explorer on the left side

I had this problem back a while ago and I can't find the thread that helped me fix it anywhere. I rebuilt my system the other day so I had to switch out my motherboard to a new case, I made sure all the hard drives were connected to the same Sata ports so everything stayed the same. However now when I open up file Explorer, it has the quick access links and then all the links under this PC then it shows my drives.

I would like to make it so that under this PC the only thing that shows up our my drives and none of the other shortcuts. I'm okay with the quick access be in the same.

This happened to me once before and somebody on here helped me fix it but like I said I can't find that thread anywhere. Sorry for asking again but I'd appreciate some helpCan I change what appears in file Explorer on the left side-explorer.jpg

My file options are the same as what you posted as far as I can see. There are many options below that are not on your image but nothing that I can see that will hide the folders under this PC leaving only my drives.

You have libraries under there which your question implies you want to hide. Done.

Option 1, step 2 Registry hack works great. Removes all the folders between This PC and the first hard drive partition.

I don't see anything you Summarizing my question then you just typed "Done" I'm not sure if you meant to type something different or give me some kind of instructions how to remove those folders.

    Hi Rich,
I see we you say that the registry hack works great however there is no instructions on how to do it in your post unless I'm missing something.

Sorry for my confusion about your post however you are commenting on the post above you which I had not read yet that's what you're posted make sense to me. I did try to follow the registry hack, I downloaded the 64-bit version because that's what my system is I ran it and nothing changed so I did something wrong.
