Q: How to fix windows 10 black screen issue?

I have Windows 10 Version (OS build 15063.138)

All was working fine.
Suddenly some services under svchost.exe started using high bandwidth. I mistakenly blocked it through the firewall.
I was logged in at that time and all was working fine.
When I shut down my pc and booted again and log in, it shows the screen which windows show when a new user sign in the first time.
I waited for 15 minutes but it was in a loop.
I restarted pc. Tired to log in again. Now, a black desktop showed up and desktop not working.
I tried to restore windows to an earlier point from other account but restore failed 2 times.
I also allowed svchost.exe from the firewall.
Tried Registry SHELL tweak but didn’t work.
Now, that account is corrupted but other accounts are working fine.
In safe mode, the courted account shows data but no app not starts.
Tweeking.com Windows repair app is also crashing.

Tried this also in cmd
reg load HKU\Temp D:\Users\paul\Ntuser.dat
reg add "HKU\Temp\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\User Shell Folders" /v Desktop /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d ^%USERPROFILE^%\Desktop /f

Commands ran successfully, but problem not solved.

Hi, just taking one point: your build is 15063 - your Windows build is very old - around April 2017.

Have you disabled Windows update or has Windows update simply not been working for a long time?

Please try these basic steps:
1. First check your disk(s):
Download and run Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) (includes SSDs)
(This gives exceptionally good text comments)
Post a screenshot of its GUI using the Insert Image icon above your post.

(If you can't install that, try HD Tune, Health Tab. Portable version is available).
If all disks are reported as good, continue.

2. Now check your file system:

From an admin command or powershell prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:

3. If ok, from an admin command or powershell prompt:
SFC /SCANNOW

Black Screens are caused by GPU Driver/Device issues. Svchost is a process that can have many subprocesses and also can be a viri. Never let it be allowed to go out of the Firewall. It is like having sex with no protection.

Perhaps, you can use Startup Repair to check if it's actually a boot problem, or simply to discount it.
