Hi LooseDeuce. Welcome to the TenForums @LooseDeuce

Is anything being recorded in Reliability History. Click start, type Reliability History, should be at top of list, click.

Have you run a memory test?

    MemTest86+ - Test RAM

You said custom built, have you checked and removed and reseated cables, cards, memory?

To be sure this isn't a BSOD could you right click start, click run, type sysdm.cpl, enter, click on Advance tab, in Startup and Recovery section click "Settings", in System Failure Area remove check mark from "Automatically Restart". This means you will have to shutdown on a BSOD and power up.

Is there something particular that you are doing when this restarts, like gaming or when it sits idle?

I assume you have good air flow over MB, disks, memory.

Is there another power circuit you could connect too, basically a different circuit from power distribution panel?

Have you run chkdsk on your boot disk. ( Please ensure you have data backed up)

Really does not state what errors you are getting. Rebooting can be caused by a multitude of reasons. Go through standard troubleshooting by checking powersupply levels, temp's, possible hardware issues.

Normally when it happens, im gaming or in Photoshop. i can go for at least a week to a month without it happening then it happens a number of times within a span of a few days. I put a brand new SSD in because i thought my harddrive was the problem (old one was showing errors) ive been monitering temp for a while and nothing spikes, even while gaming. and i usually do a internal cleaning once a month. Ill just have to pull the cover to check for hotspots.

EDIT- i already had the "automatic restart" thing unchecked.

Nothing is being reported in Reliability History?

    and memtest didn't report anything?

Strange it would go and come in a set then go again.

Are you on a UPS. Thinking voltage swings, most likely voltage drops.

If you open I would reseat and reconnect cabling just to be sure.

There are two log collectors: DM and BETA
At some time the BETA log collector will replace the DM log collector.
The BETA log collector will collect more useful folders and files.
Please run the BETA log collector and post a zip into this thread:
