PC won't wake up from sleep: Intermittent

    Hello

Problem do come and go. Now more frequent.

PC won't wake up from the sleep mode.
    - I did check all the mouse and keyboard setup to allow to wake up
    - I did setup the BIOS to enable it.
    - I did repair some Windows file using SFC /scannow

Since yesterday, I'M not even able to restart using the reset button. I had to press the power button for ten second to power down and restart.

Any idea on what to look for?

I used to have the same problem on an old Dell laptop. I narrowed it down to being an issue with the Intel Management Engine Interface. I would recommend reinstalling that if you have an Intel system to see if the problem is fixed.

What is the model# of your Gigabyte Motherboard?
go to the Gigabyte support site Support - GIGABYTE U.S.A.
type in your model # and download the driver from there. It will replace the driver in the Device Manager under System Devices.
