Im looking for a gaming pc for around £400. Im thinking this is a good deal at the moment, what would you say?

And then buy a GTX 1050Ti and put it in:

Thats old(ish) tech and does not give you much headroom for upgrades. I think you can build a PC for that maybe using a Ryzen G CPU and upgrading the graphics later. I'd suggest GTX1070 as a minimum.
I agree with DreadLord, Ryzen has the best value proposition at the moment, really no point going that old just to stick with Intel.
Also save a bit longer and you can get something nicer.
Just out of curiosity, I visited amazon.co.uk. Their least expensive 1070 was about £300.
Even a 6GB GTX1060 was about £200. (That's a much more powerful card than a 1050 ti, although it's still considered mid-range.)
I continue to be amazed that PC parts in the UK seem to cost roughly the same number of GBP as they would USD in the USA. The pound is down quite a bit compared to the dollar than in the past, but that's still a 28% premium.
I live a couple of miles from CCL. If using the same case, storage and power supply £300 will do the first stage of an upgrade.
I went from i7 sandy bridge to:
x370 mobo £50
DDR4 16Gb 3000Mhz £120
Athlon 200GE £50 (I did get Ryzen 7 2700X a couple of days later just because I got a bonus and it was in the plan...down the line)
700w power supply £35 - Did not strictly need that but knew I would at some point...sooner than expected!
New case £25 just fancied a window to look at the PC porn...
I flogged the old kit that I would not be using for £150....should have asked more, went within 2 hours and I had many enquiries.
I already had NVME and Sata SSds which was partly the reason for the upgrade, just seemed a shame for them to be running at half the capability. With a little bit of planning it can be done over time.
