    The OP can still do Snap Assist, simply by dragging any window header, in Tablet Mode...

    Use Option 2 in the Tutorial to turn off immediately and test. Then Option 1 to make sure it doesn't 'accidentally' happen in the future.

    Got it,... Sorry, I couldn't follow the tutorials. A neighbor showed me... In the taskbar, far right, there is a square box. When I hover over it a popup says, "No New Notifications". When I 'click' on it about 15 small boxes pop up one of which turns on/off "Tablet Mode". We turned it off and now I can right-click on the taskbar and select the side by side.
