How do I make Windows 10 show track info for MP4 video?
Windows 10, after installing Potplayer or various other media players and/or codec packs, will display track info for audio streams, subtitles and more for MKV and some other formats in Details view in Explorer.
But for MP4 videos I've never been able to get it to show any of that info. It's very useful for sorting videos by whether or not they have subtitles or by the audio track type.
I'd think by now Windows ought to be able to show that information for any multimedia file it has the ability to play, with Microsoft or 3rd party software.
Edit: Winaero's MediaTab is *not* the solution. That makes Windows show the details in a tab added to the properties box, which has to be individually accessed for each file. I'm looking for something that makes Windows fill in the track/stream info for MP4 in the columns in Explorer.
