I looked at that one briefly and found it confusing when I ran it - your experience may differ.

    Download:
    Download WuMgr - MajorGeeks

I just looked at it, then downloaded it. What do I do with it now? It has no recognizable executable so how is it installed ort invoked? No info on the GitHub site at all.

Looks like source code to me, or is it interpreted on the fly some how?

    Try Download WuMgr - MajorGeeks

I've amended my post- I did run it, tried one thing and ended up in a mess it took some minutes to get out of.

The interface looks pretty straight forward but I don't think I'll try to use it. I have no need to block updates as many people seem to want to do. I was just6 curious what the tool looked like.

@Ztruker: I find it helpful to keep around even though I mostly use WU for updates. Occasionally, when WU gets stuck or become bogged down, running either WUMT or WuMgr will set things back to rights. Handy side-effect of using one or the other of these great tools. But you're right: it's mostly for those who want total control over WU, and who wish to do updates entirely under careful observation and control.

If you're comfortable with PowerShell, an excellent alternative is the PSWindowsUpdate module.

There is also a very detailed tutorial for that, by @Kari

FYI: It can also be included in W10Privacy

Just don't forget to uncheck highlighted items if you want to resume update checks using other methods.

Ed, my question is, how do you use it? There are no executables, only .cs, xml and proj files. WuMgr on the other hand has a .exe.

@Ztruker: I'm obviously missing something. I thought we *were* talking about WuMgr. Perhaps you meant the wrapper script itself?
Sorry for the mixup -- obviously, it's my mistake.

If the OP wishes to upgrade to Pro, there is information on here on how to use the KMS keys to upgrade from Home to Pro, Workstation and even Enterprise. Generic Product Keys to Install Windows 10 Editions | Tutorials I have had no issues even when the Windows servers did not like the old upgrade keys from 2015.
