2 languages in a battle with each other

    Hallo all,

after searching help from anywere: Outcome of PowerShell code to remove language in Windows10 - Windows 10 Forums

In the control panel I found both languages set and combine together:
    I used this step guide:
    1. Control panel
    2. part Clock and region
    3. Region - Change the location
    4. Administration
    5. Copy settings - beneath there are 2 checking boxes
(This guide is for you to find how I got the attached images).

Here is the 1st image for the Splash screen (everything unchecked):
2 languages in a battle with each other-1screen.gif
Checking Splash screen and system accounts:
2 languages in a battle with each other-2screen.gif
3rd image checking the remaining box: New user accounts:
2 languages in a battle with each other-3screen.gif
Unchecking the Splash screen and system accounts:
2 languages in a battle with each other-4screen.gif

I also noted that in the language bar (when I open my PC after any inactvity), though the bar being set on Czech, the texts writes in Serbian. I have to reclick on Czech to get rid of writing in Serbian.

    Can please anyone finally happen?

    Thank you,

    Milada

    Hi there

    1) Check input methods (keyboards)
    2) you can't uninstall the base language windows came in even if you add other languages. So if Cs and you add Serbian you can't get rid of cs.
    3) Display languages for some languages don't necessarily have entire thing in the new language although sebian probably does -- @CountMike - any views in this.

    4) ensure all regional settings etc are set to the language you need. Note also for things like OFFICE / Email you might deliberately want to set the editing language different otherwise when using the alternate language say in email - outlook nearly every word will be flagged up as spelling error.

    Cheers

    Hi.

thank you for your reply but, I do not undersand a thing:

    1) Check input methods (keyboards) - how to check it?
    2) you can't uninstall the base language windows came in even if you add other languages. So if Cs and you add Serbian you can't get rid of cs.
    I cannot remove Serbian:

    3) Display languages for some languages don't necessarily have entire thing in the new language although sebian probably does -- @CountMike - any views in this. - sorry I do not understad the thread: View Profile: CountMike - Windows 10 Help Forums

    4) ensure all regional settings etc are set to the language you need. Panda, instead of evaluating others and commenting on issues you BTW did not provide any helpful contribution to, could you please instead provide help to this annoying problem?
Or are you already a guru, that is above all other people and you do not provide any technical help any more?
    Thanks boundleslly,

    Hello Jimbo,

thank you for your nice message.
Here are my pieces of screen: the same as your settings
2 languages in a battle with each other-same_screen.jpg
    BUT:
when trying to add another language (Slovak) I got this screen:
2 languages in a battle with each other-no-further-language.jpg

Then I therefore do not get the Related settings....

Could a solution be found? I do not want to reinstall the Windows10.
    Thank you again in advance.

    @jimbo45

it´s been a long time that you replied last to my request.

    Do you have any news?

My current problem is this: I have 4 Windows display languages, as seen here:
2 languages in a battle with each other-current_panel.jpg, apart from Czech! but there is a US EN, but the GB EN is under "Add Language". How do I remove US-EN as a default language and put Czech instead?

I think the problem could be solved by using the registry. But I just a beginner. I suppose there are too many files in the threads. I have some shots:
Current "language groups folder" in the registry looks like that: 2 languages in a battle with each other-registry_language-groups_cz-added.jpg and that of language folder looks like that: 2 languages in a battle with each other-registry_language.jpg

    Thank you,

    Milada
