    Taskbar issue

I have just factory restored my laptop after 10 crashed for some reason and now I cannot keep more than four icons on the taskbar as they move off to the left when I go to add another.

Anyone know what is wrong with my system as I can find no tutorial to answer the problem I would appreciate any tips please

Screen shot might help us understand?

Is this by the start menu icon?

Is the Taskbar locked? If yes, unlock it and move the grippee to the right to create more space?

Hello Ztruker mate am not sure what you mean by the grippee is it the two small white lines because hovering over it shows move to right or left but it doesn't work well anything really.

Sorry cannot attach a pic .

Have you tried using smaller icons on the taskbar? Here are some other tips as well:How to Customize the Taskbar in Windows 10

thanks spunk and Ztruker I have found a temporary solution and that is to drag and drop icons onto the taskbar but I will have another look at the attachment tutorial because it is the biggest problem of the two at the moment.

This is what my taskbar looks like.

The Command Prompt icon is the last icon I have pinned to the Taskbar. Seamonkey is running with the E-mail window open behind the browser which is why it shows two nested icons. I can keep adding icons by pinning them or dragging and dropping them there.

Unlock the Taskbar, grab the "Grippee" to the left of SysTools toolbar, and drag it to the left. Or to the left of the Notebook icon and drag to the right.
    Consider having less toolbar/shortcuts

Yep but I don't have a grippee on either of the two 10 machines and if I could I would send a pic but I cannot get it to work either.
My taskbar looks a bit like Ztrukers and dragging and dropping on the laptop gets me by without much trouble. Frankly it is not worth chasing your tail for something that just is not going to work.

Ok Insert image works instead of Manage Attachments so here is my taskbar as you may be able to see there is no grippees

Spunk, wrong toolbar That's mine which I'm not havng a problem with. I was just showing how it looked so ICIT2LOL could compare it to his.

ICIT2LOL, your appears to be locked, no gripees present. When do you have a problem then? Is it when you use Pin to Taskbar?
