How do I disable "Welcome to Windows" popup?

Specifically after installation when the OS starts up for the first time.
Every time I install Windows, I get a stupid popup presumably from Edge that babbles stuff about "Welcome to the best Windows ever".

I guess I need registry settings for this.

    Hi there
if it only happens one time why waste time and trouble to see if there's a work around. Personally just let an OS install do its thing and then adjust to taste after first REAL boot -- i.e the boot after you've done all the installing.

At boot I just get the lock screen until I hit enter when it pops up a user name and propts for password.

How do I disable "Welcome to Windows" popup?-lock.jpg

    Cheers

Just how many times a day/week/month do you clean install Windows ? As far as I have seen, there's a lot of work going on behind that screen, finishing setup at that time so without it you'd be just staring into black screen.

    Hello Octopuss,

There's really nothing simple you can do for the first time after a clean install, but you can use the tutorial below to turn off this "Windows welcome experience" so it doesn't show again updates to highlight what's new and suggested.

That's odd the group policy is restricted like that, but all editions can use the method I posted from Settings.
