File Explorer-How to Remove View Icons in Lower-Right Corner

File Explorer has two icons that are used for changing the view (file display), located in the lower-right corner. One icon changes the view to Details and the other changes the view to Large Icons.

However, they constantly interfere with my ability to scroll down to the bottom of the page/list. If I do not release the scroll bar just before reaching the bottom, the scroll/mouse location jumps back up and I have to repeat the scroll-down. Is there anyway to remove those icons? I don't use them and I find them very annoying. It happens all the time.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hi, try this:

If I do not release the scroll bar just before reaching the bottom, the scroll/mouse location jumps back up and I have to repeat the scroll-down.
    - I don't see this happening, though.

Perhaps a difference in Windows build- a bug?

@dalchina, that worked! Thanks a million! I removed the status bar... that removed the lower-right icons (as I had requested)... and now I don't have the screen-jumping. I am one happy camper. Have a good day!

(Doesn't anyone else slam-slide the scroll bar to the bottom of the page (using a mouse, not touch screen) to get to a bottom of a list quickly? Are you all using key strokes? I can't be the only one jamming the slide bar down quickly and running into those icons half the time. I know, I know, I can inverse-sort the list and have what I want at the top of the list... I may have to flip my brain to accept lists sorted that way and then avoid the scrolling altogether... probably save 20 seconds over the next year.)

Left Click the bottom of the scroll bar while pressing the Shift key - whalla, you're at the bottom of the page.
