If you have the new one, use it as it sounds like the old one is failing.
Here is the link for drivers, only if you cannot get them from your manufacturer.

Old one and I put it on no sleeping at all.
Can I switch off the monitor overnight or leave it on? It should work fine when I switch it next day.
Any other IOrbit programs such defragmentation or cleaner I should use or leave them for the time being?
In post 711, I gave my computer specs. Any good for Windows 10 please?
I have my PC on no display in 5 minutes and sleep 10 minutes, then off at night.
All older pcs can have a tough time with Win 10 but if it is OK then leave it as is.
Only if you have issues try to update the drivers with the IObit link. If it is stable for now leave it as is.
Always leave the monitor switch on but I think you meant can you leave the display so you can see it.
I have mine for 5 minutes then the display or monitor is off after 5 and the PC goes to sleep after 10. At night it is off.
You can experiment but if it won't boot from sleep out when turned off I would just use the new one and scrap the old.
This is important; everyday, even though it says automatic, check for updates manually and daily. Also, every time you make a change to your computer, check for updates.
You have to understand that Windows will not function unless updated.
Maybe when your made changes you did not update and that is why you had trouble. Keep checking for updates; Start >setting>update and security= check for updates. Keep updating and accept all of them.
Only pros can tell if there is one they may not agree with so accept all of them. If one is wrong it will be corrected later.
So, always update daily, especially when you install anything or make a change.
