The Windows Update Minitool is completely free, and it does a good job with checking drivers. You can use it to perform reconnaissance only (check drivers), or you can use it to check and download only, or you can use it to check, download and install. I've been working it with it for a couple of months now and believe it is as good as my two prior (for-a-fee) favorites DriverAgent and DriverUpdate. Find it at MajorGeeks, a safe download site.

You could have provided a link too. Where shall I find this software please?

The link is there in the item MajorGeeks. Note that the text is a different color, which is your cue that it's also a URL. Sorry if that wasn't already clear. The explicit URL is: Download Windows Update MiniTool - MajorGeeks.

    Hi Brother,

I did go to this website and the file wumt.zip.

There was no programme to download as we do normally.

    I am novice.

    Hey nijjhar
Try the link I gave in post # 671. It has worked for me and others who could not get drivers from the manufacturerdue to upgrading.
Please do a restore point before doing anything.

If you click on one of the two items on the MajorGeeks page that reads "Download@MajorGeeks" it will trigger a download to your system. Try it: that should do the trick (in not, click the manual download link that appears on the results page).

    Hi Brother,

    Thanks.
