Show Desktop on the Taskbar

I hope this an easy one.
This image is from my Windows 7 PC, but I want my Windows 10 to look the same.

Hello Huffman,

You could add the "Desktop" toolbar to your taskbar for that in Windows 10 using an option in the tutorial below.

I followed Option 3 and that link.

The instruction said "Right click or press and hold on the taskbar, click/tap on Toolbars, and click/tap on Desktop to check it

Sometimes "Show Desktop" is on the Toolbars popup and sometimes NOT. I could never get it to check and it never showed on the Taskbar.

I hope there is another way to do it.

The "Show Desktop" button is different than the "Desktop" toolbar.

If you want "Show Desktop" instead, then you could "Pin to taskbar" the shortcut below to make it easier to use than the default button.

'Show Desktop' is also in the 'Quick Launch' folder...

Ignore that Show desktop. Look at the top, and select Desktop

Okay...,

I'm confused!!!

Does the OP mean the right click menu from the 'Peek at Desktop' button???

No, he means the desktop toolbar, as I understand it - see post #1
