    Photographs full screen

When I open Photos it shows the photograph with a white border. Is it possible to have the photograph fill the whole screen as a default?

Hi, it's quite possible Photos won't offer an option to stretch or crop pictures that don't fit the screen ratio. I can't see any. MS's UWP apps are comparatively simple.

For a fuller featured viewer try Irfanview (free) - there are many. Here you can see the full screen view options:

Until recently my photographs did fill the screen. I must have changed something in error, as there is now a large white margin. Any idea how I can change back?
