    Spelling options

Sometimes when I make a really bad spelling mistake one of the options that comes up on a right click is "talk it out loud" or "speak it "and if you accidentally hit that option it will go on to read out everything on that page or open email screen.

How can I stop it doing that?? without losing spellcheck please.

Sounds like something in Ease of Access. Try turning the Narrator off. (Settings)

However having read your post again you mention rt click options.. 3rd party prog?

Where do you see that- only in a browser or in any program?

    Do you mean in Edge?

If I right click in Edge and select 'read aloud' it will read everything on this page starting (for some unknown reason) from the top right and then reading to the left. So it will say "Log Out", "Settings", "My Profile" "Notifications" etc

No other apps do this that I've noticed (perhaps some others do) but I don't think it is releated to spellcheck really - just that you are more likely to right click if you see a misspelt word.

I turned off narrator in the Settings app but Edge seems to ignore this. If you mis-click and start the 'read aloud' you have to stop it with this 'X' that pops up while it is reading.

It would certainly be handy to remove/turn-off the 'read aloud' functionality completely if you don't want to use it but I don't think you can.
