    No bootable Device and Cant access BIOS


    Hi
    I just downgrade my windows 8.1 toshiba laptop to windows 7. After reboot the notification was contastly appearing on my black screen and only stops when I press any key. I thought I done something in my Bios setting I think its the Bios setting option. I tried to access bios setting but it cant.

    Can any body help me please

    That sounds like a dead or damaged HDD. AS for entering BIOS, you'd have to consult Laptops manual.

    AS for entering BIOS, you'd have to consult Laptops manual.
    Generally on a Toshiba it's F2 at a cold start. To ensure the next start up is a full start from cold (and not a 'resume' from a previous state) while the PC is on press and hold the power button until the power dies. The next start up will be a cold start, start pressing F2 as soon as you see the first Toshiba logo.

    Thanks I just tried something I read from net, for Acer brands and adding my own, it works...

    Thanks every body...

    For others who might be in the same shoe as I was, this is how I did it...

    " I remove the bios battry for some 5 mins, replace and start pressing the f2 keys at the same time, when bios blink on screen I press and hold shift key and release the power button. I use shift key because I did try to release power button after bios blink, but didnt work. My laptop is now running fine..."
