Oh, goody, something more to do.....
Thanks for the clear and explicit instructions. I'll not likely get to this until tomorrow, but get to it I shall.

I've not forgotten my `threat' to gather and post the requested information; will start on that later today. Meanwhile, having now seen this more than once, a report of one minor improvement since the Windows reinstall: When waking the computer in the morning, the monitor has always awakened very quickly. However, if the computer is awake, but the monitor is asleep, it has been taking a relatively long time for the monitor to wake up; now, the monitor wakes up within a few seconds of moving the mouse.
This, of course, is yet another thing of which I have no understanding.

I had a difficult time finding the .zip file from BSOD, as it was indicated to be on C:\VTRoot, etc., a location I had never heard of. Once again, Everything, the hard disk search engine found it and allowed me to copy it to my C: desktop. Research indicated that VTRoot is a hidden file in Comodo, and the saving of the BSOD file there was likely related to the Comodo pop-up which I have been seeing recently, and which mean nothing to me. (I shall have to investigate that.)
(This is not helpful: The forum just stopped allowing me to upload the file. I am going to submit this, then see if I can edit it,, and if not, take a different approach.)

That took several tries, but finally succeeded.
What options do you have with Comodo in temporarily turning off the firewall?
Had you uninstalled and reinstalled the software?
Please list all of the malware products in use on the computer.
The attachment could not be opened.
For any problems posting please use one drive, drop box, or google drive for posting images or txt files.
The scannow report found no operating system corruption.
The restorehealth found no component store corruption.
The chkdsk /scan found no drive file system corruption.
What had happened with another try for the in place upgrade repair?
Place the computer in safe mode: (hold down shift key while clicking restart)

Run both: DM log collector and BETA log collector in safe mode and post zips into the thread
You can turn Comodo off temporarily easily, but I not think that that would have any effect on uploading the file here; as you said,, the file which I uploaded using the forum's software cannot be uploaded. I will see what I can do about that after while. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Comdo for some unknown length of time; it was updated within the past few weeks. Forum uploader says that .zip is a valid extension; file opens on my computer.
For that matter, how do I upload to the forum using Dropbox? I've never uploaded anything from there except to myself, and the Send To menu does not list Ten Forums. If I am to use Share, how do I create the link?
Comodo Firewall, Windows Firewall, Malwarebytes.
For the troubleshooting please uninstall all malware software and use only Windows defender.
If the control panel is used residual files can remain in the registry.
When uninstall malware software the uninstall tools need to be used.
Use the uninstall tools in this link:

After all have been removed make sure that Windows defender is on.
Perform the in place upgrade repair to see if it will fix the problems with msinfo32 NFO.

Then run each the DM and BETA log collectors.
If the files are empty or missing then run again in safe mode.
There are multiple companies that offer free cloud links for uploading files:
Each company will offer a different amount of free space.
Once a file has been uploaded > click share > a link is generated > copy and paste the link into the thread
one drive, drop box, google drive, etc.
Share OneDrive files and folders - Office Support
You know entirely too much.....
I shall follow your instructions when I have time (took some four hours when I did the in-place update yesterday,)
Odd; The SuperAntiSpyware link takes me to the Comodo page in the link for that.
I use Box.com for sharing files; one company recently could not access the files I sent them. Box gave me several things to relay to the company, but as I had uploaded the large files via email one at a time, they did not continue to try to fix the problem. Box responds to uploads with the public link to the file, which I can post here. I may well have misunderstood the process in Dropbox, as I thought you wanted me to upload the file to the forum, rather than a cloud link to the file.
The link to Comodo is for their anti-virus, which I don't have; I have their firewall; do I need to remove it?
Please uinstall:
Code:COMODO Firewall 10.2.0.6526 COMODO Security Solutions Inc. 20170712 COMODO Firewall 10.2.0.6526 COMODO Security Solutions Inc. 20170712Code:Internet Security Essentials 1.3.438464.135 ComodoCode:Malwarebytes version 3.6.1.2711When all of the malware products are removed and the only antivirus/firewall are Windows software then perform an in place upgrade repair.Code:SUPERAntiSpyware 6.0.1216 SUPERAntiSpyware.com
After the next in place up grade repair run both and post zip for each into the thread.
