Application's Window is Bigger than Monitor Screen

The window of application (Malwarebytes Anti-Malware)
is larger than the monitor screen. As a result the controls
are beyond the reach of the mouse pointer. The window
of another application (Inventor) almost covers the entire
    screen
Is it possible to make the window of an application smaller?

    Hi martin

Good little write here. For Malwarebytes you may have to create shortcut but a lot of programs create short cuts as part of install.

As an alternate this tutorial still works to access "Move"

To resize a normal window place your mouse right on the edge of the window. You should see mouse pointer change from a single arrow head to a two headed arrow. Click and drag window either bigger or smaller. Same thing happens when you are in corner. Nice thing about corners is you get changes to both width and height.

"To resize a normal window place your mouse right on the edge of the window."

    Thanks for your reply.

What I mean is that only the middle portion of the window can be seen.
The edges of the window cannot be seen. They are beyond the screen
and are out of reach of the mouse cursor.

Just a thought but using the default graphics driver which is usually using a resolution something like 1024 x 768 rather than the resolution for the screen?

    Good point clam1952.

What's your display resolution @martian? Go to Settings / system - on the first screen are display settings. Should be something around 1920x1080. Set it to maximum.

    Hi there
sometimes -- especially when using TV screens or monitors with TV tuners embedded into them you can usually (you have to use the handset in most cases) get into the monitor hardware settings (this is on the monitor itself - not done from within windows) and check if there's something like auto resize in the picture / video settings.

I've had the odd case where although Windows drivers OK and resolution set properly within windows the picture has not been displayed properly on the screen -- auto re-size fixed it for me.

    Cheers
