Just a note to the OP, if you move your "Documents" folder and you have been using the M.R. XML feature, it won't find them after you move your documents folder. I posted a question on their forum as to how to change M.R. to look in the right place. As of now, no answer yet, but if I am provided with a solution, I will post it in the Backup subforum on Tenforums.
Hi Sonicwind - I'm very relieved to find your solution to this problem. I created the same problem on my brand new laptop today. And I'm trying to undo it.
Re your solution A: I right-clicked on "D:" under Quick Access (which was suppose to be Documents). Then, Properties > Location > enter "C:\Users\Me\Documents". Click Apply. It will ask if you want to move stuff. SAY NO otherwise you will get one of those errors.
After the Move question, to which I said NO, I am now being asked another question :
"Do you want to redirect folder "Documents" into another system folder "Profile" located at "C:\Users\my name" ? If you proceed with redirection you will not be able to separate them or restore default location. Do you still want to proceed with redirection".
I'm assuming I say yes, but I got into more than enough trouble today, doing something I thought was so simple, I don't want to risk screwing things up any more.

Re my earlier post (last evening), I haven't done anything yet. Would still like confirmation that I can continue with Sonicwind's instructions without doing any more damage. All of the property tabs on my D:\ (which used to be my Documents folder) indicate that is a disc, and the info in them is identical to the tabs on my DATA(D). EXCEPT for LOCATION, which says D is a folder.
So I just need to know if it's safe to proceed.
