    Turn location sensor on

    I'm trying to turn on my location sensor in Windows 10, but I keep getting a "some settings are hidden by your organization" message. I'm the only user of this machine and I am not part of any 'organization'. Is there a way to get around this roadblock?

    If you used Spybot Anti-Beacon, undo the checkmark on sensors. Apply, then reboot. Should work now.

    Ok. Try both of these regedit entries to enable the sensors and autorotation:
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation]
    "Enable"=dword:00000001
    "LastOrientation"=dword:00000000
    "SensorPresent"=dword:00000001
    Also this one:
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\LocationAndSensors]
    "DisableSensors"=dword:00000000
    Reboot and see if the sensors are working now.

    Unless your machine has a GPS, that feature does not work.
