What can I do if I installed Window 10 1809 with reported problems and missing files ?
I did not find any problem and missing files.Should I go back to windows 10 1803 or wait for update ?

You should be ok then, there are still lots of people running 1809, Microsoft released a small update yesterday for 1809.
Of course we always recommend making a complete image backup of your OS before any major update. Incase anything happens you can then go back to your previous OS. Most of us recommend using Macrium Reflect which is a Free backup program.

Stay with 1809 if you're not experiencing any issues. I am staying.

Same here! 1809 is rock solid on all 3 of my machines! It seems that problems were related to missing files in the Pictures and Videos folders, I have never used those folders?

I have only found one obscure networking problem and that's only if Hyper-V is in use, so the one machine that I use to run virtual machines has been re-imaged back to its 1803 Macrium image. Three others are working without any problems with 1809 so I'm keeping it on them.

This update wiped out my wireless card driver. Had to reinstall it. A day later they must have pulled the bugs out of it as it updated another machine without issues.

I have not discovered any other issues yet.

    What an absurd situation.

I reverted my 1803 vm to 1809 vm upgrade back to 1803 because file explorer was unstable. I did it mostly to see how well the revert to previous version really worked. (It seemed go ok). A few more days waiting before trying 1809 again won't matter.
