page RESET's to beginning
If I'm looking at photos, or a document, or basically anything that you have to scroll down to see, the page automatically returns to the top constantly.. never know exactly when, but it will always just suddenly go back to the top of the page? What's up with this and HOW do I make it stop resetting? thanks

Hi frhrwa. Welcome to the TenForums @frhrwa
When did this start?
Was your mouse driver recently updated?
Did you video driver get updated recently?
What version and build of Windows are you on? Right click start, click Run, type winver, enter.
What browser do you use? have you tried an alternate? (Recognizing this will take time to test?)
When is the last time your cleared browsing data?
Any chance mouse batteries low? you may be wired, can't tell from system spec.

started about 4 months ago, haven't updated the mouse driver, its wireless Microsoft.. not sure if the video driver update is automatic or not, where or how do I check? WINVER 1803 OS BUILD 17134.286, this reset problem isn't just online, its in documents (WORD) and anything you have to scroll down.. photos etc.. scroll down to the bottom and it resets back to the top almost immediately..

You can open Device manager, find the specific adapters. right click and check for updates. Mouse and video
Before doing that though see if driver updates were applied four months ago.
Start > Settings > Update and Security > View Update History > at the bottom are drivers updates.
While you are there, in update history, does it show you when 1803 was installed or do you know when 1803 was install?
How old is mouse? Do you have a spare you can experiment with for a week or so?

well, I updated the video driver, opened photos, went to the bottom and wa-la..it reset back to the top of the page.. so that didn't work.. I'll find another mouse, but I can't see that making a difference?..

Have a look at this article.

Sort of same direction in terms of hardware but would also imply software conflict in booting to safe mode of clean boot.
Notice comment on Logitec mouse, yes I know yours is MS.
Again did this start with 1803? Were other drivers installed
Edit: forgot link

This sounds like a stuck keyboard key. Is your Keyboard wireless too? Have you changed batteries on both the mouse and keyboard lately? Turn keyboard over and shake it and blow out all keys with compressed air to remove any crumbs and dust, try a different keyboard

Tried everything.. then turned off the screen saver and that worked, put a theme on and it's ok now.. something for the books..
