    October Update Features Missing

I updated Windows on 10/2/2108. According to Windows Update, I am up to date but it says I'm only running Windows 10 Home Version: 1803, OS Build: 17134.320. Shouldn't it be version 1809, at least?

When I look for certain features, they are nowhere to be found. For example - in Notepad there is no Search with Bing function. I clicked the start menu and searched for Your Phone and Snip & Sketch, but nothing was found.

    Anyone have any ideas?

What does your update history show. Here is mine from the 1809 update.

Looks like the ones you got on 10-02 was for 1803.
Try again to run Check for Updates and see if it will offer 1809.

    Already Tried That

That was the first thing I did after I noticed something was amiss. Windows Update told me I had the latest update though. Bizarre!

After a successful upgrade to a new version, 1803 in your case, as I understand it there is a 30 day 'rest' period before the automatic windows update will see and try to update to a newer features update like 1809. This would be why you aren't seeing it when you check for updates.

As others have said, the Update Assistant should be able to update you to 1809.

    Careful what you wish for

TBH, I've found 1809 to be one of the more competent features updates. 1803 on the other hand felt 'unfinished', something of a rush job to get it out by the last day of April.

I've updated all my machines, x86 and x64, from a low-spec Intel Atom powered netbook up to an i7 uefi system - all are trouble-free.
