I figured it out ... lol
When you go to save the xxx.srt file. Do a Save As and change Save as Type to All Files. Even tho the filename shows as xxxx.srt ... if you delete and retype the .srt .... it won't save it as .srt.txt ... but give you the File Exists, Do you want to replace it :)

    UPDATE:
Thanks, I never thought about using quotes "xxxx.srt" ... but it works and gives you the File Exist, Do you want to replace

Thanks for pointing that out. I'm still using 1803, so I just put a copy of notepad.exe on my backup drive in case this happens to me.

Its not working to me...Or maybe i dont do it with the right way ? Can you give me step by step ?

    1) File
    2) Save As
    3) Save As Type to ALL Files
    4) Encoding Type UTF-8
    5) Give me a second file again

EDIT: I make to work only if when i wanna save the file i put the .srt in the end of file name! Then ask me to replace it! Give us back the old Notepad
