Got an issue, sometimes when entering sleep mode windows and the pc (intel nuc) continue the normal procedure but seems to miss the last step.
Instead of turning off the power button led it stays on, also the fan spins. Then the only way to turn it on is to hold in the power button and hard reset.
Any ideas?
To force an immediate shutdown you can type
at an administrative command prompt or in PowerShell (Admin).Code:shutdown -s -f -t 00
WARNING! This will immediately force a shutdown, forcibly closing all open applications, and waiting 0 seconds until it starts the shutdown process. Don't do this until you're ready. Please let us know if this works on your system or not.
If that works, it's a good sign. Then, please check out @Brink's excellent TF tutorial "How to Put Your Computer to Sleep in Windows 10." Try as many of the options as you can, and see which ones work (or don't). Please report that here, too. Thanks!

thanks, will test. Its a random issue so hard to pinpoint
Random/intermittent problems are the hardest ones to diagnose. Good luck with getting things sorted out!
