FWIW ... Everyone may not have the B31118B2-1F49-48E5-B6F5-BC21CAEC56FB key in all the places listed in Zardoc's post (I didn't), so I recommend you do the fix manually. If you're not comfortable doing the following, then don't and wait for MS to fix it.

    1. Use ExecTi to open Regedit and navigate to the following two keys ...
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileNotification
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileNotification
    2. Under ProfileNotification check if you have the TDL key
    3. Delete the TDL key at each location
    4. Check the locations in Zardoc's post and delete the B31118B2-1F49-48E5-B6F5-BC21CAEC56FB key
    5. Reboot PC to verify

    Note:
    1. I would export the keys ... before you delete them ... just to be on the safe side.

I have them in the same place as Zardoc. The question is, why are they there, or why have they become redundant?

The Tile Data Model Service was removed in 1809 and for whatever reason those entries didn't get cleaned up.

Yeah, I noticed the service was gone in 1809. But I'm not even sure that it was there in 1803. I checked a 1803 laptop as it was downloading the update, and it was already gone at that point in time.

Thank you Eagle51 and Zardoc for posting this fix. My registry is now free of the event 1534 profile service warnings that have been driving me nuts since the 1809 update on 3 of my 4 computers. I did export the TDL and B31118B2-1F49-48E5-B6F5-BC21CAEC56FB keys before deleting them with Execti just in case and also created a Reflect image of my boot drive just to be safe.

Has anyone that has deleted these keys experienced any issues or strange behaviors since doing so?

Same errors, is it safe to delete the registry ?

The error happens every time you open Task Manager, so you don't need to restart or log off to see the error... Every time Task Manager is opened ........

Wondering if the re-released 1809 still has these errors.
