Just installed doom 3 and it will not start. I get a message "do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device" I tap yes and nothing happens!
A quick look suggests
a. It's a very old game
b. It's not compatible with Win 10
c. Compatibility mode and patches don't help
You could perhaps run it in a virtual installation of e.g. Win 7.
Ok how would I do a virtual installation of e.g. Win 7.
You can use
Oracle VM VirtualBox
(see its documentation, videos on youtube etc)
or if you have Pro upwards you can use Hyper-V
