Which is good, wish they'd remove pagefile for the same reason.
Please keep in mind some programs' installation routine will look for it, won't install if there's not at least 2GB available on the same drive as Windows. Until those programmers fully get the their software changed it should remain. Of course if a user doesn't need to install those programs the pagefile/Virtual Memory could be shut off but that wouldn't be known until the install fails. Some time ago graphics editors were notorious for needing it, kind of a "scratch disk" for holding work in progress, sometimes even needed a Temp Folder.

    Hi,
Page file is fairly harmless I noticed it's quite a bit smaller than win-7's
32gb ram 10's page file was like 5gbs instead of 16-32gb's.
So yeah a bit different not enough to mess with imo.

    In win-7 I use min-200mb and max 1024mb's

Yes, I disable SuperFetch (SysMain) too. Inexplicably, if I don't, all of my desktop icon keyboard shortcuts lag by about 3 seconds every time.

Superfetch service has been renamed, it is now known as "SysMan" service.

    Hey Guys and Gals,

I have Win 10 1909 and 2 SSD's but I still get a error almost every day. According to what I read online error 0xc0000188 still deals with superfetch.

So how do I fix the daily error?

    DISABLE PREFETCH AND SUPERFECH COMMANDS

    disable Windows Prefetch via registry

    reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters" /v EnablePrefetcher /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

stop SuperFetch service and disable at startup
sc stop SysMain & sc config SysMain start= disabled
