Cursor gone wild
For some unknown reason my cursor has gone wild and is very hard to control. Is there any reason for this and how can I control it again please?

Hi, can you please describe 'wild'? Movement? Erratic? Clicks? Speed? .....
What sort of mouse is it? Wired? Wireless?
Assuming it is mouse related rather than software (virus...etc etc..) then could be anything from fluff/hair to a failing mouse or battery. Some people have experienced difficulties with Logitech wireless mice.
If you disconnect the mouse, does the cursor remain static? Have you swapped the mouse for a different type? (Noted you mention 2).
Check the date your mouse driver was updated (Settings, windows update, scroll right down). Does that correlate with your problem?Last edited by dalchina; 25 Sep 2018 at 06:00.

Maybe the cursor (which has gone wild) met up with some of those certain girls that I've heard about... the Girls Gone Wild people. HAH.
But yes, it would be very helpful like Ed stated, to post a reply on here stating what you did that fixed the problem.

Sorry I did not report how I cured the problem, but I took advice given by another member who suggested that the mouse battery may be failing or I needed to adjust the settings on the mouse. I put new batteries in the mouse and then moved the arrow in the mouse setting screen back to the middle of the line and all was well from there on.
I shall remember to divulge how I cured problems in the future. Without the very helpful assistance freely given by the members of Windows10 forum, my computer would never work properly and I thank them all for their patients and help.

Thank you. I do try but when you get to 86, things do slip your memory but I will remember what I have to do and keep to it.
