Sysprep not running due to miracast but cannot unistall 1803

    Hello folks,

There are many threads on this and posts everywhere, but nothing is working for me.

I have placed the miracast folder in c:\Windows but that's not working, I have tried running sysprep in audit mode and it's not working either, I have basically tried every solution I could find but nothing works. I only have one admin user in my account.

Is there an alternative to sysprep if I want to remove all previous drivers? I have moved my Windows to another machine and wanted to use sysprer but it's not working.

    Hi becritical.

If you want to remove third party drivers (Not MS) you could use Driver Store Explorer

    https://github.com/lostindark/Driver...es/tag/v0.9.10

    and

To be honest I'm not exactly sure of goal.

Have a look at this as well.

Thank you for the suggestion. My original goal was to run sysprep to 'clean' my windows installation of all previous drivers of the old machine. I wanted to do this because I didn't want to do a clean install on my new laptop. So sysprep doesn't work because of miracast.

I am wondering if the old drivers pose any problem or not, or do not allow the system to run at its best performance.

DriverStore will let you remove all third party. I've used quite effective.

Sysprep doesn't remove old drivers. If removing old drivers is your goal, use Driver Store Explorer as already suggested
