    kill dwm.exe windows 10 pro 64bit

    Hello,
do someone know how to kill dwm.exe temporarily in windows 10, it adds input lag. I used to turn that off in windows 7.
And i want batch file for it, so i don't have to kill that manually all the time. I have nvidia drivers.
    Thanks.

    I found this link

What is dwm.exe and why is it using so much memory?

With this note: "The steps below only work for Windows Vista and Windows 7. Desktop Windows Manager is not displayed in the Services window on Windows 8 and Windows 10, and therefore cannot be turned off or disabled."

These links have suggestions for improving performance:

    I would start here:

Not sure what you mean about input lag - do you mean a delay between a keystroke and that character appearing?

If you can't disable dwm.exe, how do you know that helps? (Or have you tried that manually?).

My view based on what I've seen as that you need to resolve the underlying problem rather than hacking the OS. Win 10 is not Win 7. (And many regret that... )
