"Input not supported" error while trying to install W10
I am trying to do a clean install of Windows 10 Home on a refurbished Dell OptiPlex 790 system. I am using a 1 Tb Western Digital HD on which I did a complete format before attempting to install from a purchased factory OEM CD.
To this point, I can't get far enough into the set up and installation to do anything within Windows, but I still get the bouncing gray box on a black screen with the "Input Not Supported" message.
I have tried changing the monitor setting from it's internal menu, but have not been able to find a setting that Windows seems to like.
Anyone have any suggestions...?
