    Ease of access

Are there any registry keys that would completely disable this? I've just had to do a hard reset, because that stupid "press shift x times" thing completely locked my keyboard when I was playing a game.

Hi, which OS are you referring to please? 'My Computer' shows Windows 7, as does the text under your avatar. If Windows 7, I recommend sevenforums.

Are you running Home or Pro?

This might help - try it and let us know:
Download Ease of Access Disabler 1.6

Go into settings and just change the switch in Ease of Access, to ignore repeat key presses.

It disables all hotkeys, past and future (since they keep piling up). Mostly combos like: Win + R.

That's not directly related to those Accessibility settings though, right? That's ALL hotkeys in the system? So like Alt+F4 would no longer work?

Hardcoded keys will always work, like ALT+F4 or CTRL+ALT+DEL.

No, but some people find them annoying. I think, it also disables sticky keys, but I have not tested it.
