Misplaced hidden library folders in Documents folder?

    Hello

When unchecking the "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" and selecting "Show hidden folders, files and drives" in the Folder Options, I can see My Music, My Pictures and My videos library folders appearing in my Documents folder.
    I have Windows 10 Pro x64 1803 version 17134.228.

Is this normal? Does anyone else have these folders as well in the Documents folder?

Have you ever relocated any of those folders?

As in moved them to another location? No I haven't.

Are those folders there as well at your end after selecting the mentioned folder options?

No, and I've not seen a similar report yet... what happens if you double click on them?

Always been normal on my end.
They are 'Super Hidden' and access is denied.
I've always suspected it has something to do with 'File History' but I could be wrong.

Thanks for verifying. I find it weird that users such as dalchina don't have it though.

It tells me that I don't have access to them.

I've never used/enabled File History.. have you?

That they are so hidden should make them more a matter of curiosity than something to worry about, I suggest.

Neither have I used it no.

The reason I noticed this is because OneDrive can not apply File Protection (a new feature since August) to the Documents folder because of those hidden system folders. Hence me wondering if this is normal or not.

Yes that's the feature. When trying to choose the Documents folder for protection it says that that's not possible because there is a symlink or reparse point in that folder and it's referring to the hidden system folder My Pictures inside it.
Hence me thinking this is something abnormal. Don't know if many people have this.
