"your pictures can't be printed because this error occurred" "an inter

I am unable to print pictures in Windows 10 by right clicking an image and selecting "print"

Every time I try, I always get the following error

"your pictures can't be printed because this error occurred" "an internal error occurred"

I Googled the problem but only a couple of Windows 8 results without answers showed up—All the other results were all spammy results.

There is nothing pertaining to Windows 10 or any answers on the issue whatsoever!'''

    How do I fix this?

Does event viewer give you more information?

What app are you using for pictures?

When did this start and can you remember any changes being made?

Have you uninstalled the printer and its software and then reinstalled?

I ended up with exactly this error the past month, and used other programs to print until I finally took time to fight with it. I'm aware this is a zombied post, but since there wasn't an answer posted, maybe my fix will help someone else?
    1. Try to print a picture.
    2. Click the [x] to get rid of the 5 error messages until only the green bar "Generating preview..." is showing.
    3. Click Options link in the lower right of the dialog box.
    4. Click Color Management.
    5. Click Advanced tab.
    6. Write down your current "Device Profile" so you can change it back if this isn't your answer.
    7. In my case, and I'm hoping yours, System Default was not selected. Scroll down (alphabetically) to System Default and select it. And click Close.
If it works, you'll know immediately, because the preview of your image will now appear in the dialog box.

If it doesn't work, or if you already have System Default selected, perhaps a different Device Profile will work. I'm just guessing now, but go through them all until you find one. My System Default was "System Default SRGB IEC61962.1" but I have no reason to assume that yours will be the same. Good luck! Dangme!
