    Monitor random power downs

Since upgrading to windows 10, my monitor randomly goes to power save mode (standby). This appears to be mainly in games. e.g. Lord of the Rings Online, but I have noticed the same in Chrome once in a while. Apart from that, all seems to be fine. I am running the latest GeForce drivers....10.18.13.5362

    Thanks in advance

I've had it too, on upgrading to Windows 10 the second time... first time around I did a clean install of 10 but kept getting system freezes so I went back to 8.1. After a week or so, I gave it another go and installed 10 again, this time through the upgrade method and ended up with your problem, but there's no apparent fix yet (that I've found) - Nvidia forums have quite a few threads about this, but no answers at present. ATM, I'm going back to a clean install of 8.1 (again).

I might try 10 again at some point in the future but at the moment, it's a no-go for me.

God forgive Microsoft update their Monitor and Power Settings.
How long have they supported Multiple screens yet you have to go 3rd party to be able to control each individually.
Microsoft settings use One setting for all monitors.
Each One should have it's own screen saver, screen sleep ect...

    I'm ranting..
Check your power settings in the control panel.

Well, I solved the problem in the end, bought a new PC with 10 installed already. Bit of an expensive workaround, but it worked
