Question-Importing pictures with Standard Windows Photo App from iOS

    Hi everyone,

I have a question concerning the Import of Pictures from my iPhone using the preinstalled Windows Photo App. The import in itself works without issue, but for some reason it saves some iOS "live photos" as a video file and a a picture file. It does not do this with all of them and I could not figure out what the issue was.

Does anyone now wether I can just tell Windows Photo to just save all "live photos" as normal picture files?

    Live photos are littel movies.

If you use file explorer and navigate to your Apple device, open it and follow the path down to DCIM you will likely see a movie and a picture for all live shots. If just a picture it sounds live you had Live off. (Which is how i would like to default the device)

When I import I do a copy and paste. First I sort by type and exclude the movies.
