Windows 10 sometimes 'freezes' during shut down

    Thanks. That's next on my to do list. The longest I've waited while it is frozen like that has always been less than 10 minutes, more like 5, so I don't know whether it would have eventually shut down by itself.

    Please post back with what you find, cause it's very curious what it's doing. Maybe if you don't get some satisfaction in short order by doing these things, you could post in Hardware Thread. The nuts 'n bolts guys may have a quicker answer. It's....unnatural!

    Trouble is, the last time it happened was probably 4-6 weeks ago, I havn't really been keeping a record as to when it happens. Maybe it is just this pc, I don't know, but Lenovo's own hardware scan has always given it a clean bill of health. Even if I somehow manage to correct it It will probably be a long time before I know it is fixed, if at all.

    And it never does it while you're staring at it....it knows!
