Blurry app icons on desktop, program icons fine

So I'm having this strange problem for a while now, so can't say when it started really. This is on one of my daughter's computer. She has a mix of app icons and program icons on her desktop, but for some reason all app icons are very blurry, as you can see in the attachment.

The regular icons are fine and I do not have this problem on any other computer. My other daughter has the exact same machine spec and software spec and does not have this issue.

Thank you but rebuilding the cache did not solve it.

Never mind, I've found it. The issue is with 3rd party software from Stardock; Start10. It creates low res icons instead of hi res. Creating Icons from the original Windows Start Menu solves it.

Well actually I already knew that rebuilding the cache didn't help because I am fairly knowledgeable around basic Windows stuff and thus always check the most common ones :)
Nevertheless it DID inspire me to check once more for a possible source of the issue :)

Since Start10 caused a problem can I recommend a different program that gives the "look and feel" of older Windows systems to Windows 10. I've been using it for ages and it works great. It is called Classic Shell Start Menu and Other Windows Enhancements
