Windows resolution set to 800*600 cant reach menus

Hi I got a small issue that turned into a mudslide with my Asus laptop K55A. I was in the process of connecting a projector to the computer to watch movies. And did not get the resolution to a crisp level.
Anyhow window suggested "do you want windows to find the optimal resolution" I went for that and had to log out and in again.
Surprised when all was just huge buttons on the screen. Too big to reach any menus. When right click i can scroll to the screen settings but once inside I cant get to the right place to set it nor put a "activate" or OK button. I think its set to 125% larger setting from the start..
I try flipping around using Win+p but I found the laptops screen too is set to this impossible setting, and I cant reach anything to et it right again
I heard I could maby do somezoom thing with Altgr + (+) or (-) Will try that later.
Cant figure out how to go to fail safe mode either, tried pushing F8 etc at boot but nothing.

Is there anything I could do to set it right without trying to go to any menue? becauce its just not possible. Maby try on old computer-cable to a new monitor at startup?

F8 is effectively obsolete, or near enough, and has been since Win 8.

Safe Mode: - from the extensive Tutorial section, which you're welcome to browse or search:
Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
Add Safe Mode to Desktop Context Menu in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
Add Safe Mode to Boot Options in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

A 'simple' way is via SHIFT + left click Restart and work thru the prompts.

Note: there is a way to trigger Safe Mode even if the PC won't boot normally- or at least set it so it has a chance of doing so.

    Welcome to TenForums @Turbovulc

Actually, it is possible, but not using the mouse.

You can navigate Windows from the keyboard. The Tab key switches the focus to the next button or field, scrolling the page to display the selected field (Shift+Tab goes back to the previous field if you overshoot). If the selected field is a drop-down menu, Spacebar will show the menu. up/down arrows will move in that menu. Enter or Spacebar to select an item from the menu.
