My taskbar is only letting me attach one program to it.

We need more info what happens when you try and add and how do you add any error message

I tap the windwos button and search for the program that i want for example spotify, then i right click and press pin to task bar. After that i want to add another one so i do the same again except when i press pin to task bar the second time i replaces spotify with the program that i tried to pin.

If you have a backup you can remove the pinned items and try again.

You could try
Reset and Clear Taskbar Pinned Apps in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
and see if there's then any change

See if there's any strange effect related to grouping taskbar buttons:
Always, Sometimes, or Never Combine Taskbar Buttons in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

Have you applied any tweaks that may be relevant?

No i have not tweaked anything replacing applications that were there with only one application.

Edit: Clearing and resetting the taskbar fixed it, thank you for the help.
