    cefsharp.github.io

Full Web Browser in your .Net App
CefSharp is the the easiest way to embed a full-featured standards-complaint web browser into your C# or VB.NET app. CefSharp has browser controls for WinForms and WPF apps, and a headless (offscreen) version for automation projects too. CefSharp is based on Chromium Embedded Framework, the open source version of Google Chrome. We have a simple 5 step process to get started. See the Quick Start guide and the FAQ.

It can be used for a number of reasons. Use Process Explorer to find out what folder it is in.

It depends. As far as I understand you're running an app that has browser capabilities. Do you happen to know the name of the app and its purpose? Use your firewall to block it from accessing the Internet until things become clear.

    According to:
CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe Windows process - What is it?

" The process known as CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess belongs to software CefSharp or AOL Desktop Gold or Facebook Gameroom or Razer Cortex or Facebook Games Arcade or Alt1 Toolkit or TigerText Desktop Messenger or Amazon Cloud Drive or Play withSIX Windows client or Razer Synapse or Dauntless by The CefSharp Authors. "

If you are using any of the applications mentioned on that page ( other people have also mentioned "Live Chat", some "Firefox extensions" and "Chromium" ) the process is probably safe, although if you are worried about it you could uninstall the related application.

It depends on what Process Explorer shows what folder it is in. That process is used for a lot of applications.
