pinch zoom fixes do not work

I'm trying to disable pinch Zoom. The control panel, Mouse, settingsdo not have any reference to pinch Zoom. I tried the registry solutions. There is no reference to synaptics or to DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade in the registry.
    I'm running Windows 10 on a laptop.

Which Dell laptop do you have?

Do you have a touchpad icon in notication area, may be hidden and you need to click on up arrow. If so click or double click on it.

Have you loaded Dell Touchpad driver from support site?

Have you tried: (click the Settings gear wheel, lower left Start menu)

Settings - Personalization - Themes - Mouse Cursor - Device Settings - Settings

That is for a Toshiba, hopefully Dell similar, if not may try to google or check Dell forum.

Please post a screenshot similar to

so we can see what you are looking at, including the type of touch pad and driver version, which you can see are displayed in my screenshot.

Also a screenshot of your Device Manager like this:

Please also post a link to the drivers for your laptop.

    Thanks.

Agree that is where I was heading. My Dell, old Dell, won't allow adjustments until driver installed. It's an Alps touchpad. Hence the suggestion to load driver from web site.

Thanks for that partial info. Clearly you don't have a touchpad driver installed.
What exactly is your laptop model?
Again, please post a Device Manager screenshot.

Please see my specs for a comparison with the info we have about yours (Click 'My Computer' below my post).

Unfortunately that link doesn't go anywhere useful. Could you please post the correct one and check it?

pinch zoom fixes do not work-device-manager.png Clearly, I do not have a touchpad. I never said I did. But the posted solution indicates at this is the easy way to Disable Pinch Zoom. that is why I looked for a registry solution. This laptop has two mouse pads that behave normally. I use the second mouse pad because it's buttons are easier to use.

Yet again, what exactly and precisely is your laptop model - the one you now say doesn't have a touchpad?
