    how to clear taskbar tray icon list?


    Windows 10 Pro 1709

    How does one edit or clear this list? I executed the "portable" version of Ultimate Windows Tweaker ONE time and chose not to use it.

    it is set to always display all icons, that is why the whole list is grayed out. I deleted the "portable" program completely, but this remnant still remains. I did a search of the registry for "tweaker" and removed the most obvious results. so to be more clear, I don't even want it to show in this list.

If you right-click the taskbar > taskbar settings > taskbar > select which icons appear on the taskbar - there are uninstalled programs still listed. How do you remove them from this list?
Clear or refresh Updates are available list
in Windows Updates and Activation

Is there a way to clear this list and rerun it?. Install KB3093266 but it still shows on list,maybe a refresh to fix.
