The Windows Update MiniTool ran successfully. But a restart was requested, and I am still on 1709 16299.492. Guess I'll have to just wait for the next cumulative release. What a mess!

Great Tomcat! Then I can start the frustration all over again!

By the way, just curious, did you fly F14's?

Thanks for all the responses guys. I just ran the Windows Update MiniTool successfully. A restart was requested, and I am still on 1709 16299.492. No 1803! Guess it rolled back AGAIN! At this point I am going to wait on the next major release ... just sick and tired of trying to make this mess work!

i am right with you Tomcat ... my dreams also. Can't wait for the new Top Gun movie!

Bear in mind MS's roll-out strategy means builds aren't offered to - or may be delayed- where a given PC is thought likely to exhibit problems.

Your Update History will show if you received a 4 Gb or so download and a failed upgrade attempt - or not.

Have you ever seen any actual evidence 1803 has been downloaded to your PC?

Would that show in Reliability History, also?

    Hi,
I don't believe the first release 1803 I believe on 6/11 was all that bad
Updates after that are mostly when the problems I've noticed started hitting.

Well, I deleted the file softwaredownloads and tried WUMT again ... same results ... rolled back to 1709 16299.492. I am really tired of this and "out of bullets". Thanks again for all the responses ...
