    Crash Logs Pop Up

Hi... I don't know where this is coming from:

    Crash Logs Pop Up-crash_logs_popup.jpg

As soon as I hit a key or move the mouse, it disappears.

As far as I can tell, no opened programs have been affected. Everything appears to be working normally.

Started a day or 2 ago.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Hi Immd. Welcome to the TenForums @Immd

When the message pops up look down at task bar. Is there an icon with a blue line under it that you don't recognize?

Next I would audit the Startup tab in Task manager. You should be able to identify what everything is with the help of Google.

What happen a day or 2 ago. Were you installing anything, opened a strange or random attachments?

Might want to try malwarebytes Free version from Free Cyber Security & Anti-Malware Software | Malwarebytes

You can also enter apps (Start > Settings > Apps ) and then sort the list by install date instead of name.

Hopefully one of these will find your new app.

Open reliability monitor and check, what app has been crashing. You can type to Start - Run:
    Code:
    perfmon /rel
View Reliability History in Windows 10 [How to]

Using Ken's suggestion, "icon with a blue line under it ", I saw that system Mechanic was causing the popup. It was not open prior to the popup.

    Thanks for your help.

I uninstalled completely using Iobit Uninstaller, then reinstalled.

    This solved my problem.

    The problem resurfaced.

Support from System Mechanic said to follow these steps:

    Open System Mechanic Professional
Click on the Settings or the gear like icon located at the upper right corner
Go to Active Care and expand the settings
    Go under Exceptions
Put a check mark on "Do not run between"
Set the time wherein the software will not run

    ...

Can I ask what you use this software for?

Not challenging, just trying to understand.
