    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:g:\sources\install.wim /index:1
    3) When this command has completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Change the letter G to the letter for the flash drive

    Hi there
Not always 100% guranteed but you could image your own computer and restore it on the other one -- these days Windows is quite sophisticated and will find most of the drvers even if the mobos are different architecture e.g Intel and AMD.

Be careful though if you have any licensed software other than Windows that you have installed on your machine but aren't on the other one -- you will have to uninstall those.

Windows should activate if the other machine has (or had) a digital licence.

This method will be quicker but won't always work 100% of the time. Remember also that if you use POP3 email your email will be copied on to the other machine (another good reason for using IMAP for email). Also if you have any private accounts etc you don't want those copied.

I use this method when copying between computers since they are my machines - for restoring to someone elses machine then you need care.

I also have a Basic Windows" install with nothing extra added for recovery to a 3rd party machine if required --it's then up to the user to re-install his / her applications.

    Bon Journee !!!

    Cheers

Here's how to check the details of the iso you have downloaded:
See Full Details about a Windows 10 ISO file

Remember the iso should be around 4.6Gb.

    Please post back the results.

(Note that creating a bootable iso is not just copying the iso file to a flash drive)
I have downloaded to my stick
